Special Town Hall on The Economic and Social Consequences of the Child Care Crisis in BC

It’s becoming increasingly clear that our economy will be suffering the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic for years to come. Our governments must be focused on the most efficient and fair economic recovery solutions so that no one is left behind.

In Part 1 of a series of BC specific post-COVID-19 Green recovery solutions, Kim is looking at the important issue of providing adequate daycare and early childhood education so that parents, particularly women, can return to work. We are seeing that COVID-19 has morphed the current recession in a completely unique fashion, different from previous recessions, with working women accounting for nearly 60% of job losses.

Please join Kim and special guests for an interactive town hall via Zoom where they will discuss this important issues and create solutions, with your input.
